Welcome to www.HomesByRFS.net and thank you for visiting our site. My name is Jim McDonough and I am the President and Founder of Residential Financial Services, Inc. I have served in that capacity since April of 1993 and continue to navigate our company today through these tough economic times and market conditions.
I have been a full time Pennsylvania Licensed Real Estate Agent since 1987 and a full time Pennsylvania Licensed Mortgage Broker since 1993. Over my career I have experienced many economic cycles and have the experience that is necessary to help you navigate your next real estate purchase or mortgage transaction.
I began my career with a large real estate company in 1987, right in the middle of the stock market crash of October 1987, and quickly realized the real estate market held great promise for me as an agent and potential investor. Since the fall of 1987, I have participated in new home construction, land development, sales of existing and newly constructed homes and mortgage financing.
In 1988 I founded J-Mac Real Estate Services, Inc., a local homebuilding firm. From 1988-2002 I was the General Contractor for 45 single family homes ranging in price from $115,000-$575,000.
From 1992-1998 I partnered with Economy Savings Bank and formed a joint venture called West Chase Development. West Chase Development was a 20 acre-54 lot subdivision located in the heart of Findlay Township, PA and quickly became "thee place to live" for families seeking a new residence in the West Hills of Pennsylvania in the early to mid 1990’s. I oversaw the implementation of all infra-structure and the construction of 8 single family homes ranging in price from $110,000 to $165,000.
Since 1993 I have served as President of Residential Financial Services, Inc. where I have advised over 770 families in the financing and or purchasing of their dream home.
I am a lifelong resident of Western Pennsylvania and I currently live in Cranberry Township with my wife and three children. I graduated from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio with a BSBA in Management. I am also a Pennsylvania Licensed Life Insurance Agent and I enjoy sharing Wealth Building and Retirement strategies with many of my clients.
I am dedicated to providing you, the client, with exceptional service by drawing upon my diverse background since 1993 and I look forward to assisting you in your next home purchase or mortgage transaction.
